BLUE MONDAY MY AMERICANA BATH PART 2

Hello and welcome to Blue Monday hosted my Smiling Sally. If you go here to her blog you can get a list of all the other participants.

Today I have part two of my Americana Bath. If you did not get here last Monday then, if you'd like, scroll down and take a look at the pics you missed. Please feel free click on the pic if you would like to see a larger view.

I'm showing you some closeups this week. I had a few people ask if the room was big. Yes it is for a bath that is. It's 14 x 18, it was supposed to be a small bedroom according to the house plans but we decided we did not need another bedroom being empty nesters and just made it into a large bathroom.

This shelf below has my collection of Brandywine Collectible Houses. I'll show you closeups of them next week in my last part of this room.

This pretty Thomas Kincade lamp was a gift from a lifelong friend. She saw it in the Bradford Exchange catalog and had it sent to me knowing how much I love Thomas Kincade art.

A closeup of the lamp with a pretty little cottage and stream.

Another cute cross stitch.

A closeup of a Betsy Ross vintage embroidered piece that I picked up in an antique mall in NJ. I've always loved Betsy Ross, I guess because I love to sew so much!

Close up of a wreath I made using a Brandywine House.

Another closeup of cross stitch and some glitter words.

I used some little crocks to hold Q-tips and emery boards. My husband brought that antique crate home and I use it as a shelf.

Some closups of that cute little shelf that my husband built for my stuff!!!!

A friend painted the God Bless America sign. She died of a brain tumor about 16 years ago. She had painted so many things for me and I will never part with them.

Another cute little Betsy Ross.

A cute little Americana bear and cross stitched bunny.

I love houses and cross stitched this back in the 80's, another one of my favorite things.

I love this saying "This corner of the earth smiles for me" that's how I feel about my home.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed looking at my Americana Bath. I loved sharing it with you! Next Monday will be my last post for this room. Until I make another Americana thing that is! LOL
Bless you, Shirl

PINK SATURDAY & EASTER BLESSINGS

Hello and Happy Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet the Sound.
I want to wish you all Blessings for a wonderful Spring & Happy Easter and Passover.
Today I have some more pix's of my Easter decorations, and above is a pix of Miss Peach the Victorian cat. She was the winner of my giveaway last month and a friend of her's made the pix above with her and my embroidered hearts. How sweet is that? Miss Peach is having surgery on April 14th. I'm sending her prayers and purrs that all goes well for her. She is just the sweetest kitty in the world. She has stollen my heart!

Miss Peach sent me this little handmade Easter card and some Perfect Peach Tea. Thank you so much Miss Peach for the beautiful card and the tea! So sweet of you. Look how cute it folds out!

Then it had this little garland of eggs. Just darling!

Below is a pix of my bunnies on a shelf in my living room. My collection of bunnies has grown over the years so I had to find another place to display them.

A cute little bunny with a pillow that I crossed stitched a few years back but just made it into a pillow this week.

This is another one of The Silver Needle kits with all the pretty threads and buttons included. Always done on large count fabric.

A pretty needlepoint pillow, I did not make this one.

Some closeups of the shelf.

A bunny garland made by a friend back in the 80's. I thought about making some new dresses for them is softer pastel colors. Maybe next year!
A sweet little Easter board that I purchased from ebay.
A few more closups of ornaments on my Easter tree.

Some cute little felt ornaments that I purchased from Etsy last week. My daughter Jen painted the cross ornament.

Jen painted the egg and cross stitched the little duck ornament.

My friend Steph of Angelic Accents made this pretty little feather egg for me last Easter. I cross stitched the little on below the egg.

Jen cross stitched the egg for me back in 1992. It's so pretty done with beads and ribbons. The little sampler one with bunny and chicks I did last Easter season.
Another one cross stitched by Jen.

Well that's it for pink today. Thank you so much for stopping, it was nice to visit with you. I'll be back on Monday for some blue bunnies in my bath!
Have a Happy & Blessed Easter and Passover. Shirl
