PINK SATURDAY WITH MY PRETTY PASTEL FRAMES & HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet the Sound. If you go to her blog you can get a list of all the other participants. The pic above is my first touch of pinkness for today. Our gardens centers are finally getting in some pretty flowers. These had to come home with me.

I'm wishing you all a Happy and Blessed Mother's Day. Below is a pic of my Mother when she was just 16 years old. She was beautiful. Mom passed away in 1983 and I still miss her so much. She was such a wonderful Mother and made such a loving home for my sister and I to grow up in. Everyone that met my Mother just loved her, she was always such a joy to be around. ! I love you & miss you Mom

Here's my Mom, my sister and I(I'm on the left) in Newfoundland in 1953. My Dad was in the Air Force and we were stationed there for 4 years. I remember it being such a beautiful place and have always wanted to go back there one day.

For my pinkness this week I have some pretty pastel frames in my foyer. I've had a holiday theme in there since my Back to School display last Sept. I was cleaning up all these pretty frames this week and thought I'd put them altogether in the foyer and they do make a pretty vignette.

Some closups of my favorite ones. This in my Mom and my daugher Jen on her Christning Day.

My daughter Jen on her Wedding Day. Some of the pics have glare on them, I should have used the museum setting.

My great-nephew. Sorry about the glare on the pic.

My first grandson, he graduates for high school this year and starts college in Sept., time sure does fly!

Another cute one of my first grandson.

My husbands father, some of these pics are really old, back when the camera were not that great.

This is my silly son back in 1990, and yes he had two dates for the prom. They were all just friends. He's really a sweet kid. He just turned 36 in March.

My husbands family.

My three grandsons in an angel frame.

First birthday pics for each of my three grandsons. This is Mikey.

Joey's first birthday.

Marcus's first birthday.

So that is it for my pretty pastel frames. I'm not sure what is gonna be next for my foyer. Still thinking on that one. Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful Mother's Day!

Bless you, Shirl
