PINK SATURDAY ~ YELLOW & PINK IN MY FOYER

Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by our sweet Beverly of How Sweet the Sound. If you visit her you can get a list of all the other participants.

Above I have some pink cuteness from a new Vintage clipart CD that I found on ebay.

Below I have two pretty thrift store lamps that I paid a quarter each for. Great buy! My husband rewired them for me.

I found new pretty lampshades for them and I will post them again soon.
Next I'd like to show you my foyer from earlier this spring. It's done it yellow but it does have touches of pink so I thought you would enjoy seeing it.

Please click on the pic to get a good look at all the pretties!

My sister bought me this pretty teapot when she was on a buying trip to England.
A little spring cross stitched pillow.

Holly Hobbie in yellow!

A little pillow I made from a pretty print fabric that I bought on ebay many years ago.

A little banner that I made from a 1970's calendar. I've always bought pretty calendars and kept them through the years, now with the altered art crafting I'm using them. I knew I kept them for a reason. LOL
A pretty print with touches of yellow.

Thank you so much for stopping by, it was so nice to visit with you. Have a wonderful weekend! Shirl

BLUE MONDAY

Hello and welcome to Blue Monday hosted by Sally of Smiling Sally. If you go visit her you can get a list of all the other participants.
Today I'd like to share a blue gift that I made for my niece. She's expecting a baby boy in April. She has two girls so is so excited about having a boy this time.

I made her an altered art box to hold all babies firsts. Added some vintage images, millinery, buttons, lace, glitter and ribbons.

I put a piece of blue fabric inside to wrap all the firsts in!
So that's it for my blue today. Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a great week!
Bless you, Shirl
