Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet the Sound. If you go to visit her you can get a list of all the other participants.I've taken Beverly's challenge and went to visit a Pink Saturday Blog that I have not been to before. This week I went to Rosebud Quilter, she has a really cute blog and makes the prettiest quilts. Today for my pinkness I want to show you the gift I received in the mail this week from Deb at Garage Sale Gal. In the above pic you can see that Deb wrapped my cute gift in a vintage pink hankie with a pretty handmade card. Inside were these pretty cards.
Mary E. is my favorite so I just loved this pretty card that Deb made for me.
Some very pretty note cards, vintage and new. Thank you so much Deb! This was so sweet of you!
I've started to decorate for fall so I thought I'd show you some pics. I love the fall and love to decorate for it. I have three themes that I use in the fall, first is my "back to school" items. Then I use a Halloween theme, then on to a Thanksgiving theme.
My old green chair again, I love the look of it with anything.
A few close ups.

I cross stitched this cute little back to school teapot last year and finally got it made into a little pillow.
I did the cross stitch for this years ago and had it in a frame, I decided to make it into a tote bag.
The little saying on it reminded me of when my sister went to school. We were living in Newfoundland at the time. I really missed her and waited by the window for her to come home.
On the back of the tote I used a vintage lace from my friend Pat's collection that she had sent to me before she passed away.
Look how cute she is. Her dress is a chalk board and her umbrella is the eraser.
My husband bought me this litte teacher plaque when we were on vacation this summer. Not really why I teach but I do love summers off!
Fall has hit West Virginia this week, the air has turned cool and crisp. I love this time of year. The leaves are so pretty and the air smells so fresh. I have a weekend planned of reading my new magazines and planting some bulbs for next spring's bloom. I was thrilled to find a new issue of Country Victorian at Walmart, this is my favorite magazine. They used to publish it four times a years but this past year they seem to be only publishing it once or twice.
These are the new bulb's that I picked up, can't wait to see them bloom. Well that's it for another Pink Saturday. It was so nice to visit with you. Have a wonderful week!
Bless you, Shirl
