PINK SATURDAY

Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet the Sound. Thank you Beverly for hosting this fun event.
Today for my pink I have this pretty little cross stitched lamp that I made many years ago. I've always loved this and I just got the big idea in my head that it would be cute to sew on some pretty little crystal beads to put where the crystals are cross stitched on this. On the lookout for tiny crystals! LOL

My favorite lily "Stargazer" is in bloom in my garden now. I plant more of these every year. I love them and the scent is fabulous! You can smell them as soon as you enter my garden gate and while setting on the porch.

My quilt guild had a Christmas in July cookout this past week and we had a "Yankee gift swap" Below are the gifts that I made for the swap.
First I have a little pincushion I made using my pumpkin pattern then I attached a little vintage ballerina and some little pearls and a faux cupcake flower.

Next I made a little needlecase using a "Sunbonnet Sue cut out from a piece of fabric then embellished with crystal beads and ribbon.

You lift her skirt to find the place to keep your needles.
I had made a bunch of these to sell on my Etsy site but sold them all to friends before they made it to my shop. I'm working on more now.

I also coverd a little box with a sewing room fabric and embellished with some yoyo's.

That's it for my pinkness today. Thank you so much for stopping by, it was so nice to visit with you.
Have a wonderful week!
Blessings to ya, Shirl
