Happy 3rd Birthday to Beverly's Pink Saturday! Congratulations Beverly for your three years of this wonderful event! It's been so much fun! I wish I had time to visit everyone but that list keeps growing and growing! Maybe over the summer when I'm off I'll get to visit more pink blogs.

Today I have some pink lilies to help celebrate the day!

Then to help celebrate the occasion my peonies came in bloom this week.

I was thrilled to find some pink dish detergent today! Just in time for our pink celebration.

PINK SATURDAY, May 21, 2011

Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet the Sound.
Thank you Beverly for hosting this fun event!

Today I have a pretty vintage canister that I picked up on my travels earlier in the month. I got all three pieces for $12.oo. Great price, they did not have lids but I thought they would be great storage for my sewing room, maybe I will crochet some lace type lids for them.

Next I picked up these pretty pink cupcakes tea-towels and pot holders at of all places a Dollar Store.

Toooooo cute to pass up!

I went to a scrapbook party this week and made these pretty little cards. A fun night, first we have dinner in a little cafe then we go into the back room and make cards. Great time!

Thank you so much for stopping by, it was great to visit with you. We just had a week of rain and cold but finally Friday evening the sun came out. Were supposed to have a beautiful weekend. I'm so ready for it!

Today I have two pretty plates that I picked up on my travels this past week.
First is this pretty little cake plate that I got for $1.00. Can't beat that!



Next is a pretty oblong plate that is perfect for asparagus. My husband and I eat it several times a week and I never had the right dish to serve it in. I was so happy to find this.

PINK SATURDAY & HAPPY MOTHERS DAY MAY 7th, 2011

Hello and Happy Mother's Day to all my sweet blogging friends out there! I wish you a wonderful and peaceful day!

My husband and I are on a trip so I'm posting from the road. I'd like to take this Pink Saturday to wish my Dear Sweet Beautiful Mother in heaven a Happy Mother's Day. She passed away in 1983 and not a day has gone by that I don't miss her. How proud she would have been of her three Great-Grandsons! Family was the most important thing in the world to her. She would have loved them dearly. Love you Mom and miss you!
