PINK SATURDAY & DOLL HOUSE BEFORE & AFTER

Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet the Sound. Please feel free to click on the pics to get a larger view.
My little Angel was sound to sleep in the hoosier and I could not resist taking this pic!
Mom you woke me up!

I'd like you to meet Bentley, he is a sweetie! I adopted him about ten years ago. My
friend adopted his brother. The mother and two babies were tossed out in the streets.
Mother was still nursing the kittens. So sad that someone would do that but they all
got good homes. He slept on my neck when he was a kitten and still does, I keep
telling him he is too big for that now.

How about some pink Valentine treats?
My daughter Jennifer Lynn, this pic was taken in 1972. Pic is washed out but the
walls were pink, toy was pink and she was dressed in pink. Jen could use a few
prayers right now, she got hurt at work and is getting the run around from Dr's and
lawyers.

This pic is from my ebay selling days about 8 years ago. I used to sell fresh lavender
and this was my picture for the auctions.
Isn't she sweet, I've had her for years and years and still love her!

I bought this for myself last week. It is a poor pitiful me gift, I had an appointment
with my surgeon and tried my darndest to convince him I did not have to have a
colonospy but he would not listen to me. Whaaaaa I don't want to have this done!
Anyway I thought she was so pretty with the aqua dress and pink roses. My favorite
colors! She is a Bearington Bear, from Hallmark.

I love brooches and since I was still on my poor pitiful me trip I bought this for myself also.

This pretty ornament I bought years ago on ebay, can't remember the seller. I thought
it was so sweet with the little cabin and bluebird.

I had to share this with you even though it's not all pink. I love glitter and Martha Stewart is now available in Walmart. The Super stores have a hugh selection of her items.

Now on to my doll house, I found this pretty cross stitched doll house in an antique
store in Burlington, NJ. Took it out of the frame, washed and ironed it and painted
the frame. Then blinged it up a little with vintage trims and buttons.

Here's the new look!

Well that's it for this weeks Pink Saturday, I hope you enjoyed. I loved sharing it all with you. If you have time scroll down an look at my Gettysburg, Pa. vacation post, it will be fun!
Blessings, Shirl

Happy Pink Saturday, Shirl. What you did with that dollhouse looks just wonderful. You have so many pretty things.

I will keep your daughter in my prayers. And, don't fret too much about the colonoscopy procedure. They put you to sleep, and you won't know a thing. The worst part is the prep.

Wow, where to start. Everything is so pretty. I really like what you did with the cross stitch doll house. It's just divine!

I'm sorry your daughter is having a hard time right now. And as for you, a colonoscopy isn't so bad! I've had one done before. You'll do just fine! Remember it is important to take care of yourself.

Happy Pink Saturday!

take care,
Dawn

That picture of Bentley in the bowl was so sweet!

Good luck to your daughter. I hope she recovers quickly and the insurance stuff gets settled. She's lucky to have a caring mom like you.

And you got the right attitude - when you're feeling down, get a little something to make yourself feel better. Best of luck!!

Wow, your little doll house is a real transformation! You really made it look great with the cleaning, the painted frame and the embellishments. I LOVE your kitties---I am a kitty person, too. Good luck with the colonoscopy--I've had one and I hated the prep, but felt so relieved to be done with it. Your Gettysburg post was terrific. You had wonderful pictures and great text to go with it! I would love to visit it some day! Hope you had a great Pink Sat.!!!
