PINK SATURDAY

Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet The Sound. If you go to her blog you can get a list of all the other participents.
I came home from vacation to see these beautiful blooms so I thought would share them with you! Please feel free to click on the pics to get a larger view!
We had a wonderful time on our vacation, I'm working on a post and should have it up tomorrow. Lots of pics so be sure to stop back and see!

Got Milk?
I just found this beautiful magazine, "The Girlhood Home Companion". It's written for the a young girl but of couse Mother's, Grandmother's and any Girly Girl would love to read it. It's as wonderful as Victoria with illustrations as beautiful as the Romantic magazines we all read. It's filled with inspiring features such as "Afternoon Tea Anyone?", "Memories of an English Cottage Garden", "The Genteel Art of Writing". Recipes, crafts, etiquette and all the things we love! I received my first three issues in the mail and was so happy with them that I ordered their Compilation Book of 13 issues in one beautiful album. If you would like to order an issue just go here.

Now on to Pinkness! Look how pretty my new apron is! I'm so happy with it, I had it custom made by Annies Attic you can go here to see all her creations.
While I was on my vacation I found these pretty vintage egg vases at an antique mall. They had to come home with me!

I collect Sacred Hearts so when I found these two prints I had to have them.
Look how pretty the pink roses are!

This one is smaller but just as pretty!

As you can see I found lots of pink on my trip last week.

Look how sweet this sampler is.
I found this pretty vintage pink crochet tablerunner in an antique mall, it needs a few repairs but that won't be a problem. I'll have it fixed up in no time.

This pretty pink baby vase will be perfect in my little vintage baby collection that I have in one of my guest bedrooms.
I love the soft roses with a touch of lavender in this little plate.

This little treasure came from the Boyd's Bears Store in Gettysburg, Pa. It's a surprise for my daughter. Hopefully she does not see this before I give it to her!
Isn't she sweet? Now Jen will have a hard time telling her Great Dane Dutches that she can't play with it! Dutches thinks everything is for her!A pretty pink sachet with crystals and pretty ribbon roses.

These next two pics are mugs that I had made up at Walmart using pics from my porch parties.

So that's it for my pink this week, I hope you enjoyed! Be sure to stop back I should have my vacation post up tomorrow. Thank you for stopping by and please leave a comment I'd love to hear from you!
Blessings, Shirl

Hi Shirl,

I don't know where to begin! As you know, I adore pink -so loving this post!

Where were the antique malls you went to?

Love the pink egg vase and I have never been big on egg vases but I think I have had a change of heart on that! The Girlhood magazine looks so much like Victoria Magazine! How beautiful. Your apron is to die for and just think is darling...and last but not least the table runner with those lovely pink roses....what finds!

Angel has done it again ~ oh, how I love that cat!! What wonderful goodies you found! Did you give Jen her bear yet? Hope she is feeling better now. I'm so out of touch with everyone lately.

What do you call the cross-stitch that is framed & on a stick/dowel? My mind is drawing a blank but I should know!

Big TX Hugs,
Stephanie
