Happy Birthday to Jan!
For my Tea Party this month I thought I would host a Halloween Tea Party on my porch. The leaves are just starting to change now that we have had some cool evenings. The days have been beautiful and in the 70's and evenings have been going down to the 50's and 40's. The peek season in WV is just beautiful and I will be sure to post pics of the folage.

My front porch all decorated for the fall. I still have pink roses in bloom because of the warm days. It looks a little odd with the orange.
A few different views of the porch.
My pretty pumpkin on the rocker with the rose was painted by my daughter Jen of Jen's Petal Palace.
Come on over and have a cup of tea!
I made some yummy chocolate fudge cupcakes with fluffy buttercream frosting to go with our tea.

I made some pretty cross stitched party favors and some Victorian Crackers.
Some pretty Halloween decorations on the other side of the porch.

One of my favorite cross stitch pieces is this Halloween Victorian House. It was so much fun to stitch. The designer Judith Kirby has designed a Victorian House for every holiday and season.

My daughter Jen cross stitched and painted the little bear under the tree. She painted roses and candy corns on the frame. Candy corn to me is something I always have to have a few of during Halloween Season. Like peeps at Easter!

And I knew Jen had painted that adorable Halloween frame the minute I saw her beautiful roses on it! Love your little black feather tree ~ where did you find the teensy glitter work ornies for it? The Halloween fabric on your table is adorable. I also love the tiered black cake stands. Yummy looking cupcakes, too! You can really do a party up right!

Love all your displays.
Thank you for all your sweet comments.
Garage sale gal, thank you and yes Judith Kirby did a Victorian house for every holiday, even the 4th of July. You can probably find her charts on ebay.
Melony thank you so much, you made my day. I'm trying to make my garden look like and English Cottage garden.
Thank you so much Steph, the ornies and black cake stand are from Gooseberry Patch, the feather tree is from Hallmark, this year, the table cloth is a Mary Englebreit fabric from about 10 years ago.
Blessings, Shirl
What darling decorations you have. I love that cross stitch you did. So sweet.
I'm so sorry. I had emailed you but I guess you didn't get it.
My brother LOVED the bibs you made. I met him at a resturant and he put one on right there. It was great! Then I talked to him on the phone and he said he wears one every time he eats. It's saved him getting dirty shirts every time he eats.
He said to tell you thank you from the bottom of his heart.
In fact (he didn't want me to tell you) but he cried when I gave them to him and told him about you. He was so touched that someone he had never met took such time and care to make them for him.
You have no idea how much your hard work meant to him and to ME.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Big hugs,
Joanne
Ooo, how festive! I esp. love the black dessert stand.
Cute cross stitch. I love candy corn too, esp. with peanuts!
I have to wonder where you store all of your awesome seasonal goodies!
Thank you so much Joanne, I was happy to do that for your brother! Thank you for the donation of fabric. I made clothing protector for the vetrans hospital with it. I will be updating the SOL blog with pics soon.
Hi Nikki, thank you, I've never had candy corn with peanuts. I'll have to check that out. I've been collecting plastic tubs for my decorations. As you can see I have alot of stuff to store! LOL
Blessings, Shirl
