Just a quick post to say hello to all my sweet blogging friends and to wish you a Merry Christmas and may God Bless You and your families with health, happiness and love!
We finally got the tree decorated, I'll put some more pics up with my Pink Saturday post.
Shirl, I must say you have the most beautiful Christmas I've seen in blog land!! Your so talented with all the beautiful crafts you have made. I enjoyed your home so much this Christmas day.
I just found your blog from your daughter's blog. I also live in Almost Heaven West Virginia! I had to comment about the Victorian Stocking. I have one that someone made me when I was about 9 out of red felt with white lace with my name on it. A couple years after that I was making them for family and friends. I made the pattern smaller and they are really cute. Hope you are staying warm. Angela
I am a happily married Christian gal and a flower designer by trade. Now working as a teachers assistant in a Catholic School.
I have been married for forty years. We have a son, a daughter, and three grandsons. My children have homes on our farm which makes it so nice to be able to see them anytime. We are living our empty nester years in the hills of WV with our beloved pets. When not working I spend my time collecting vintage treasures, decorating, sewing, quilting, gardening, crafting and restoring our pre-civil war farmhouse. I am passionate about embroidery and cross stitch! I collect samplers and all types of textiles. I love to transform vintage finds into unique cottage décor.
I am thankful to the Lord for my creative energy that I have been blessed with.
In the evenings from spring through fall you can find us setting on our front porch on our beautiful 250 acre farm. Our peaceful little paradise!
