PINK SATURDAY

Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet the Sound. Thank you Beverly for hosting this fun event!
I love yellow in the spring especially when the daffodils are in bloom so I did my little thrift store cake stand up in yellow this month. There are touches of pink here so I thought I could sneak it in a Pink Saturday post. I only post once a week so I often have things here that are not pink. School will be out on June 5th so maybe then I will be able to post more often.

This cute little girl under the cloche is a birthday card from a friend.
The little gardening bear and mouse were gifts from my son.

Some daffodils and other flowers from my garden.

I just bought this Pink Double Knock Out rose last night. I have 2 of these rose bushes now and I just love them. They bloom all summer way into fall. Always covered in blooms.

Apple trees are in bloom in WV right now and the blossems are beautiful.

The scent is heavenly so I always bring some in my kitchen.

I have some great new magazines for reading on the porch this weekend.
I love this one called Where Women Create and my favorite artist Susan Rios is featured in this issue.

Thank you so much for stopping by, it was so nice to visit with you. I hope to be able to visit more blogs this week, My ISP gave me fits this past week. I have a wireless card but in a rural area they are not much faster than dial up. Real bummer for sure. Thank you all who have stopped by to visit and left a comment. I love hearing from you all!
Blessings to ya! Shirl

Happy Pink Saturday Shirl Sweetie...
I so adore your post today. Just exquisite. Love the little cake plate that has your cloche over it. So pretty.

Your roses and gardens are just absolutely breath taking. What a wonderful gardner you are. Everything is so beautiful. The rose bush I will have to look for. It gets so hot here in Phoenix, I am not sure it can stand the heat, but maybe we shall see. The color is so pretty and it sure is saying please buy me. Love it.

Have a beautiful Pink Saturday and a wonderful May Day tomorrow. May be it be filled with happiness and sunshine sweetie. Country hugs, Sherry

Bree has some knockout roses, too, and after seeing your glorious ones, I think I need to purchase some as they seem to do well even in our heat. Those apple blossoms are really something else!!

HI Shirl,
Love all your gorgeous treasures this week. The cake stand laced with ribbon is precious.

I have many of the knock out roses planted from last year and into this season and I love them. I am going to post some info about them soon and how you have to cut them back every 3 years or so and let them start over.
Your garden and all the many blooms are just out of this world. You certainly could be in a garden magazine. You are as talented in the garden as you are with your creations and home decor.

I love all those magazines you are showing too. I also get Semi homemade and love it. Recently started to receive Tea Time as well.
Got to love a relaxing time on the porch with favorites like that.

Hope you have some free time when school lets out. I bet you will be glad to have your summet vacation.

Thank you for stopping by and your kind comments and entering my giveaway. Sorry to be so tardy in coming over to visit. I am really busy at the moment.

Have a special Mother's Day and blessings always.
Love ya, Celestina Marie
