PINK SATURDAY

Hello and welcome to another Pink Saturday post hosted by Beverly of How Sweet the Sound. Thank you so much Beverly for hosting this fun event.

For my pink this week I have a cute little vignette on my kitchen windowsill of a flower from my garden in bloom called Opulas Viburnum. When it first blooms the flowers are a pale lime green then they turn white. I love to put the green blooms with pale roses. A beautiful combination when they are both in bloom at the same time.

Of couse a few little touches of pink for you to enjoy.

Thank you so much for stopping by, it was so nice to visit with you.
My husband and I are going back home to NewJersey this week for a friends daughters wedding. While we are there we will stay the week and visit family and friends. We have a busy week scheduled so I doubt we will get to visit the "Jersey Shore" this time. It's hard when it's only 45 mins. away and will not get to put my toes in the sand. LOL
Have a wonderful week, I'll have my computer with me so I will still be able to visit blogs.
Blessings to ya! Shirl

This is commonly known as a Snowball bush, right? I have one at my from porch and I absolutely love it. When the flowers start falling off, it looks like snow on the ground. Love your header!

Hello Shirl, happy Pink Saturday! Your vignette is so sweet, I love the color of pink and green together :) Most of my home is decorated in those colors, along with whites and creams. I'm participating in Pink Saturday for the first time, and I hope you will have a chance to stop by and visit me :) Have a lovely weekend, warmest, Brenda

Hi Shirl, I love your gorgeous vignette using green and white with pink. Simply one of my favorite combinations.
The flowers nearly look like a cousing to the hydrangea.
Gorgeous jadite collection too.

Prayers for Bob~ have a wonderful weekend dear friend.

Hi Charlotte, thank you for your sweet comments.
This shrub is in the snowball family but a different species. These flowers are smaller than the flowers on a snowball bush. The standard snowball bush is on my to buy list though. I love them too. I remember my best friends Mother had one when I was growing up but don't remember if the flowers started out green. Have you ever taken notice?

Blessings, Shirl

Your display is gorgeous and looks like a painting still life!
I love the fluffy snowball bush!
And you are a lady after my own heart with the jadite! I collect it too and the FireKing green shade is my absolute favorite. You can decorate around it with retro reds or shabby pinks!
Thanks for sharing such a fun post!!

BEAUTIFUL vignette, Shirl! I love those gorgeous flowers. I wonder if they would be happy growing in San Antonio, TX...Probably not. I couldn't help but notice the adorable Southern Belle doily. Very sweet!!

PS: I said a little prayer for Bob. From now on,when ever I pray for the men and women serving in our armed forces, I'll be sure to mention him by name.
