PINK SATURDAY & HAPPY HALLOWEEN OCT. 31, 2010

Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet the Sound. Thank you Beverly for hosting this fun event.
Today I have some Halloween mixed with a little pink here and there. Hope you like!!!

We had our Halloween party at school today. The kids were adorable, I was amazed at all the cute costumes. I love my job!!!!

I picked up this cute little Halloween cake tonight when hubby and I stopped at the store after dinner. How cute and just the right size for two people! Had a piece already and it is delish!!!

Some Halloween in my kitchen.

My daughter Jen made me this cute little Halloween pincushion a few years ago.

My old little Hoosier cabinet decorated for Halloween!!

A few pictures of fall that we took last Sunday riding through our farm on the John Deere Gator.

I was so glad to find two great new magazines to read this weekend. Christmas already, just so hard to believe.

Paula Deen is such a joy! I love her shows and magazine! She always makes me smile!

Thank you so much for stopping by, it was so nice to visit with you. I hope you have a wonderful Halloween!
Blessings, Shirl

Happy Pink Saturday Shirl Sweetie...
What a beautiful share to day. Everything looks so beautiful.

I love the decorations, your Happy Halloween letters are SO beautiful, and I adore the little wooden cat. Now that pinkeep your DD made for you is absolutely priceless. Love it.

The cake looks delish. Decorated so cute. Eat some for me, as being diabetic with high blood sugars of late, I have had to give up the sweets. I miss them this time of year.

Have a beautiful weekend sweetie. Many hugs and so much love, Sherry

I can see that fall is in the air with the beauty in the trees. What a miracle life is.
Your cake is making my mouth water. I love candy corn!!! I think I would have taken all those little goodies off the cake and eaten them. HA!
Children are so cute all dressed up and excited for what is to come. I saw an article in the paper that said schools are no longer celebrating this holiday. How sad we have become. The article went on to say that the school system didn't think the holiday stood for anything good, so it's now banned. I can't remember what state that was, but I do remember as a child, all the fun we had. I wish we could get back to enjoying life and all it offers instead of worrying about every little thing.
Your decorations are just fun and so festive Shirl. Happy Pink Saturday and Happy Halloween too, Char

Happy Pink Saturday, Shirl. There is a link to my office-studio on the right sidebar on my blog. I hope your friend likes it.

It is always so much fun to visit your home and see all of your pretty things. I am so loving that gorgeous canister set.

I've been enjoying that same issue of Southern Lady. It is on the floor next to my chair right now.
