PINK SATURDAY OCT. 23, 2010

Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet the Sound. If you stop by to visit her you can get a list of all the other participants. Thank you Beverly for hosting this fun event.

Today I just had to show you this pretty calendar that I purchased for my sewing room. I am redecorting it now in a pink cottage look. I can't wait to get it finished and get everything organized.

This calendar has paintings by Sandy Lynam Clough, she is a favorite artist of mine. Below are a few of my favorites in the calendar.

Next I wanted to show you these pretty coasters that I purchased for my sewing room, they are also artwork by Sandy Clough.
I hope to have a little sitting area in front of the fireplace in my new sewing room so these will be perfect.

I just had to share these pictures with you, I had just finished making these tier curtains made from green 30's repo fabric and when I stood back I just loved the look of the pears on the windowsil. My kitchen has 4 windows like this one.
The ivory Cape Cods are very old and are from a Penny's catalog.

Last weekend my husband and I went to Lowes and this was our view. Just minutes from our farm. I could not resist taking some pics of this beautiful view. We are having a very pretty fall in WV.

Well that's it for another Pink Saturday, thank you so much for stopping by. It was so nice to visit with you! Have a wonderful week!
Blessings, Shirl

Shirl, That is a wonderful post for Pink Saturday, I love the curtains and the sewing boxes as I'm always on the hunt for sewing machine themes, you will have to let us know where to find them. You did a beautiful job on your curtains! Your scenic drive is just lovely, I'm in love with all of it, can't wait to see the sewing room and with a fireplace too. I'm moving right in! Ha! Hugs, Marilou PS Happy Pink Saturday!

Shirl,
I LOVE the calendar and the coasters esp. the one with the antique sewing machine on it since I have my hubby's grandmother's antique Singer in my Craft/Sewing Room.
And I really adore the curtains!! Very charming!!

Hi Shirl,

I'm a new follower! Those curtains are so cute. They are hard to find these days. It seems that frilly is out. I just renovated my home and I put my old curtains in a bag in the basement. One day I'm sure they will be back in style. For now my window is curtainless...that's what my decorator said to do. I do love the little pears peaking. Thanks for sharing. Happy Pink Saturday!
