Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet The Sound. If you stop by to see her you can get a list of all the other participants.
I always love the first of the year so I can put out my new calendars. I choose them with care, and never throw them away. I have been saving them for the past 40 years that my husband and I have been married. Since getting into altered art I now use them for creating.
Below is January in my Sandy L. Claugh calendar.
Love it!!!!! This one will be going in my sewing room as soon as I'm done painting and decorating it.
Have you ever picked up a newspaper or store ad and found it just to darn cute to throw out in the trash? I just love this picture on the cover of The Country Register I picked up a few years ago. It's still hanging around in my craft room, I have to find something to do with it. Just such a dreamy cozy scene. I love plaid and roses together.

Happy Pink Saturday, your post is wonderful and your calender collection just charming. What a great idea saving those calenders! Hugs to you and I better go get my PS post ready! You are all way ahead of me! Marilou
I had to settle for a new calendar that wasn't pretty, but it IS serving its function, sugar. Hope Bob gets home very, very soon.

Connie
I love the fact you save your old calenders ..especially for all those years.. Some our so pretty you just can't part with them.. My sister always saved her calenders and passed them on to me as she knows I will craft with them.
Pink Saturday blessings to you.
I have saved a lot of my calendars as well, but not as many as yours. I just have to have one to keep up with appointments and birthdays. Yours are very pretty.

Happy Pink Saturday!
Blessings to youj.
I never through away our calendars either! I always choose them for the pretty pictures, and I intend to frame them, but never have. But you're right, now they're perfect for crafting! And I hope you find something to do with that Country Register cover. That image is so lovely!
Happy Pink Saturday!

What a perfect pink post!! Don't you just love calendars? It's like a new "gift" each time you change the month!! I think the Gooseberry Patch calendar is my favorite! Thanks so much for sharing and have a wonderful weekend!

What a fun post. Love your calendars. HPS
I love it that you showed off your calendars. Every year since our first Christmas together, my husband has made it a tradition to pick out a special calendar as one of my Christmas presents. This year I got one with scenes of Ireland.
