PINK SATURDAY, JUNE 25, 2011

Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet the Sound.

I missed you all last week, it was a busy week for me and I was not feeling well. This week has been much better. I'm enjoying my summer break! I set on the porch and have coffee in the morning, I just love mornings outside, just always so peaceful! I hope you all had a great week and are enjoying this beautiful weather.

Today for my pink I have this pretty cross stitched bell pull. I got this at a thrift store and it's just perfect for my sewing room. It looks so sweet on the back of my door especially since I keep my sewing room door shut. No kitties or puppies in this room.

Some closups of the little stitching girls.

This week I went to a scrapbook party and made these pretty cards. A nice evening first we have dinner in a little cafe in town then we go to back room and do some crafting. It's always nice to get out and do some creating.

A few closeups.

Thank you so much for stopping by, it was so nice to visit with you. I'm looking forward to my visits with you all. Have a wonderful week.

Shirl

I have had some phamily situations that are very unpleasant. Prayer is so welcomed.
I always pray for your wonderful military men! God Bless each one of them!

So many pretty pinks here today!! I am glad to hear that you are feeling better!!
I was in the ER yesterday. Turned out that the pain I had for 2 days was caused by a Urinary Tract infection.

Hugs,
Debbie

Hi Shirl! What a great thrift find. That little ditty was designed by the talented designer Alma Lynne. I LOVE HER WORK and she remains my favorite cross stitch designer of all time!

Happy Pink Saturday. Loved seeing your beautiful things!

A beautiful cross stitch. That craft is so time consuming, I admire anyone who does that. Your cards are lovely too.

You did a very nice job on your cards even if you were not feeling too good. I think you made the right choice on the bell pull.

What a fun pink saturday post and I love all your pics!
What a fabulous thrift store find!
I've found lots of cross stitch at my local Salvation Army stores but never an original Alma Lynne or anything as grand as that bellpull!!
I can imagine you couldnt believe your eyes when you saw it!
She was always a thrill to visit at the trade shows and is as sweet as her designs :-)

Your bell pull is so sweet and so pretty, and your cards are fantastic. The one with the pink butterfly is my favorite.
