PINK SATURDAY Sept. 17, 2011

Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet the Sound.

I'm so sorry to have been MIA for so long. Since we got back from vacation things have
been so hectic. We had a wonderful vacation. I have lots of pics to post but have not had time
to edit them and take pics of all my new pink things that I'd like to show you.

School started so I'm back to work, don't know where this summer went, time sure does fly anymore.

Our sweet Molly the Newf has been very sick, she has a disease called Mega Esophagus. It's an awful thing for a person or animal to get. She can't keep anything down, spits up all the time. Last week we thought she was going to die she got so weak and would not eat. We have to puree her food, we started feeding her baby oatmeal in the morning, scrambled eggs at lunch and pureed chicken breast for dinner with Gerital vitamins and she has gained weight and is doing quite well. We pray she stays on track. She's our baby and we will be broken hearted when whe dies.

We had a wonderful time on vacation, Lewis and Roeboeth, Deleware beaches were very nice but different than any beach we've been to before. Lewis was an old historical walking type town which we enjoyed and Roeboth is a very busy shopping type town with a boardwalk. Both very different but nice.
Our grandson graduated from Dental School with the Navy and he's home on leave so we are enjoying spending time with him. He was stationed in SanDiago for the past 7 months and his new base will be Beaufort, SC. We plan on vacationing there for the next few years so we can spend some time with him. Were really looking forward to that.
Well I best end this post, I have really missed you all and hope to get some pics up for next weeks post. Thank you so much to all those that have emailed me to see if I was OK. Your sooooo sweet!
Hugs, Shirl

You have been a busy lady...I'm so glad you were able to squeeze a vacation in! I'm so sorry about Molly and hope she improves. My dog had something similar, couldn't keep food down but that was in his later years. We lost him too soon, but it was from something different. I think you are doing the right thing.

I hope you are enjoying better weather, it's cool here and I like that! Have a lovely weekend, Shirl!

XO,
Jane

Hi Shirley. Oh, sweet Molly, I do pray she will be ok. I have loved Newfoundlands since first seeing two black ones in the back of a pickup truck. They were such big friendly dogs. I was happy to see your post. Beautiful pinks as always! Have a wonderful weekend!
