Pink Saturday

Hello and Welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet the Sound.

I'm out of town on a road trip but posted this before I left, if my post options took then you will be reading this! Hopefully it did! This week I made a few things and of course they were in pink so I thought I would show them to you today.

This tote below is made from a cross stitch that I had done years ago, the artist is Paula Vaughn. I just love all of her Victorian Designs! Be sure to click on the pic so you can get a larger view!

Another one that I made using a teddy bear cross stitch then I made the tote using 1930's repo print fabric.

Yoyo's are something that I love so I made a little cluster to embellish the tote with.
Then used a vintage button with a little bling in the middle!

A few more things I made this week, a lavender sachet, victorian needleroll sachet and yoyo pin.
I got this adorable Susan Branch fabric and made a few little tea towels.

A closeup of the cute fabric.

I made this lampshade years ago, I saw one in a high end gift shop and came home and made myself one, also some flowers and herbs from my garden in the little jadeite flower pot.

My favorite flower that is blooming in my garden is the highly scented stargazer lily!

Another victorian needleroll sachet with fresh lavender.

A little dresser top that has some pink and alot of things that I love.

Well that's it for my Pink Saturday Post, I hope you enjoyed, have a great week and stop back again.
Blessings, Shirl

Oh how lovely everything is! I just love Paula Vaughn and Susan Branch, and cross stitch! The Paula Vaughn's are so very detailed and they take alot of work and time to do, but they are so worth it! I love how you used your cross stitch for the totes. What a great idea! I just LOVED your post! Thanks for sharing everything!

Picture perfect, as usual, Shirl! I adore both the totes!! Those took gazillions of hours to cross-stitch! The little teapot neckroll sachet is adorable, too! Always fun to take a peek inside your lovely home!

Hi Shirl,

I have been wanting to applogize to you for not posting when you tagged me. I can only hope you will accept my apology, it is sincerely meant. I can only say that I have been quite exhausted and haven't been posting much on my blog due to an illness. Hope you understand.
