Pink Saturday

Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet The Sound.
The first thing I have to show you today is a bedtray that my daughter Jen of Jen's Petal Palace made for me.

Another little wall plaque that Jen painted for me, I love cakes so I treasure this!
Here's a pretty little fabric gift bag that I made for my PRH sister Steph.
A pretty little applique heart quilt that I'm working on.

This is a little bed that's setting on my bed. I just love this, found it over the summer at an antique mall.

I have not decided if I should paint it white or leave it as it is. What do you think?

It came with a matteras, sheet and embroidered quilt. I'm sure this was treasured by a little girl many years ago!

Thank you so much for stopping by! If you have time scroll down and look at my post about Nights In Rodanthe. It was filmed in the town that I vacationed in, an editor from Blogher wrote and told me that she has linked my blog to her interview with Nicholas Sparks. Hubby took me out to dinner tonight and to see the movie, I loved it! I thought it sent out a beautiful message! I still have vacation pics to post, hopefully I will get to them this week.
Blessings, Shirl

Love that little bed Shirl !! I think White would look great, or a pale blue to match that ultra sweet doll quilt.

Happy Pink Saturday !!

Hi Sweet Shirl! The tray from Jen is just too sweet for words ~ I love all the beading & gimp trim on it! And the painting is just perfect for you!! That little doll bed is adorable, too. I'd probably paint it white. Isn't the little bedding with it too sweet for words!

Do you know I left that sweet tote on my hutch door handle until I put out the Halloween a couple of weeks ago! I just can't put it up, so it is now hanging on my little demi lune table drawer knob in my bedroom!!

I've missed visiting with you while you were away! Are you ready for your package now?

Love you,
Stephanie

Good morning Shirley,
The little bed is so sweet. What a great find and with the little quilt with it, how adorable. Your bedtray is so special, even more so that your daughter painted it for you. I have to comment on your beautiful antique bed. Is that a family piece? I love antique furniture. Have a wonderful weekend! So glad you saw the movie and enjoyed it.

Happy Pink Saturday, Shirl. I love the pretty things your daughter has made for you.

And, I am in love with the quilt you are making. It is so pretty.

The little bed is so adorable. I don't think I would paint it.

Nights in Rodanthe is one of my favorite Sparks' books. We plan on going to see the movie soon, too.

Shirl now you know normally I would say paint it white, but in this case I would leave it original. What a cute child's treasure that is. Jenn's beautiful paintings are so YOU!

Hi Shirl,

Happy Pink Saturday. I love your post. It's very nice. I think that tiny bed matches the room and doesn't need painting. Maybe some pink satin ribbon bows on the frame as embellishment? Love that cake painting too!
Take care,
Susan

Awwww Shirl! That little bed is so cute. It looks like rusted metal, which I LOVE, but it tends to stain any fabric that touches it. I'd hate to see that darling quilt get stained with rust. I'm voting to pain it white or PINK!

What a wonderful daughter Jen is to have made you that dainty tray and scrumptious looking cake!

Shirl, I have been trying to catch up on my visiting. Company has really kept me busy. I am glad I stopped by to see your pretty pink treasures. The painted cake is so sweet as is the bed tray. I adore the little bed and the bedding on it. I like it not painted but it would probably look just great painted. It is cute either way. a great find.

Shirl,
Love the doll bed and tray! It was so intereting in what you wrote about the Sparks movie filming, read all his books and love them! The film looks wonderful but everytime I see a movie from a book I'm disappointed! But...this one is tempting me! Later,Lori
