Tea Party

Hello and welcome to my Tea Party hosted by Jan & Tom's Place.

I'm away from home on vacation so this month I'm doing something a little different. First I've made you a white cake with buttercream & coconut frosting. Enjoy a slice with your tea! Please click on the picture to enjoy a larger view!

Since I'm away from home I thought I would share with you some of my favorite tea things. First is a card that my daughter Jen of Jennifers Petal Palace gave to me years ago and it's still one of my favorite things.

Next is a Cherished Teddy Tea Party that my son gave to me.

This is a "Victorian Tea In The Garden" tapestry that I love, I put a piece in a serving tray. I sold alot of this tapestry fabric on ebay years ago. I have a few cuts left that I will be selling on my FF Flea Market Blog next month.

A close up.
I also made a cut into a tote bag. I guess your starting to think that I am crazy for totes. Oh yes I am! I don't leave the house without one for a purse to match my outfit I'm wearing and one with a book and some needlework.

Here's a cute little tea party sachet.

Now here's some of my favorite tea time reading. "Southern Lady's, Tea Time" is one of my favorite magazines.
Some of my favorite tea books.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I enjoyed tea and cake with you and sharing my tea time things! Please stop back again and I do have a special tea party planned for October. Be sure to stop by Tom & Jan's place to visit the rest of the teaparties.
Blessings, Shirl

Good morning Shirley,
You are my first tea party to visit. I am visiting at work before the start of the workday. Love all your tea items. We share lots of the same teabooks. Don't your love Susan Wheeler's Victoria Rose? I have named the bunnies we have at home after them. Baby bunnies are always baby Violet. Do you have Patsy Clairmont's tea books? They are favorites of mine. Hope your vacation has been fun and relaxing for you.
