PINK SATURDAY & A LOOK AT FALL

Hello and welcome to another Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet the Sound. Their are 102 participants this week. Thank you Beverly for hosting this fun event.

First this week I thought I would show you this sweet little potholder hanger that my daughter Jen from Jen's Petal Palace painted. This is one of my favorite things that Jen has painted for me.

I love her roses on this piece, Jen's been teaching me to paint roses and I'm not anywhere close to her's yet but I will keep trying!

Next I thought I would show you a few of my favorite kitchen refrigerator magnets.

I love this little mini cork board for mini notes.

I love all things teatime.

The next two are old calendars but I love them too much to pack them away. Look how pretty they both are!

I have a friend that goes to Maine every year for two weeks and this little cel phone case is one of the gifts that she has brought back for me. I use it for my scissors since I don't carry my cel phone in it. I love the wool heart with embroidery. I really love things that are made with wool like this.
My sister Elizabeth gave me the pretty little needlework silver scissors .

A pink powderpuff hollyhock from my garden.

Two of my favorite pink books that I have recently gotten.
This book is so sweet and has so many sewing projects that I can't wait to get to.
This one is titled Sew Pretty Christmas Homestyle.

This one is titled Sew Pretty Homestyle. So many fun projects in these books!

This is a pretty little Peace sign that I made this week and is available at Shirls Velvet Attic.

A closeup of the millinery and pretty little bow.
That's it for my pink this week, now on to a little fall in my neighborhood.
Here's Bently to wish you a Welcome to Fall. I rescued Bently about ten years ago he is the most lovably cat!

Some fall cupcakes I made for a lunch guest this week.
A look at fall on our farm. Leaves are just starting to change.

This is a beautiful road on our farm that I love to walk down.
A fall view from my porch.

A view from the old porch on our home.

A look down the road on our farm, this leads back to my daughters home.

A peek at some of my fall decorations, I'm still making a few things and will post more decorating pics later.

My little old hoosier dressed for fall.

Thank you so much for stopping by and seeing my pink this week and a look at fall in WV.
Blessings, Shirl

Pretty pink things, but this week the 'walk through Fall" is what really got me. I'm a suburbanite and long to live somewhere such as those pictures...*big big sigh*.

OMG Shirl... I just love all of the pink things you showed today. That sweet little rose painted roller with the hooks for your pot holders is so cute. I would love something like that to display some of my vintage crocheted potholders on. Also loved your collection of fridge magnets in the tea theme. I have a collection of tea themed magnets covering the top half of my fridge as well. So nice to see some else with the same collection.

Happy Belated Pink Saturday!!
