PINK SATURDAY & SOME MORE FALL IN WV

Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet The Sound. Thank you Beverly for hosting this fun event! You can go here to get a list of all the participants. Please click on the picture to get a larger view.

The first pink I have for you today is some Stargazer Lily's that I treated myself to from the supermarket yesterday. I really miss them in my garden and love the scent so they just had to come home with me. I don't pick them up in the florist anymore because now they charge $5.00 for every bloom on the stem. That can get pretty pricey! Most stems have at least 5 blooms and it take 3 stems for a nice arrangement. Supermarket $10.00 for whole bouquet can't beat that!

My next bit of pinkness is a pretty little rose frame that I've had for years. My grandson was under a year old in this picture and he will be 18 next month.

Next I have my pretty little Mary Engelbreit tea cup.

A napkin that I made to go with it.

A pretty collection of pink fabrics that I picked up at Joanne fabric store. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them yet. I'm trying to come up with something really special.
The next few pics are some gifties that I have received from my PRH Sisters.
First is a collection of vintage wallpapers from Rhea of Miss Rheas. I can't wait to make something pretty from these. Thank you Rhea!

Next I have a pretty vintage pink crochet cotten doillie from Steph of Angelic Accents. Thank you Steph, as you can see I have just the perfect place for it!

A pretty card and glitter initial from Vickie of Visuals by Vickie. Thank you Vickie, I want to make my sewing room look like this card!

That's it for pink now on to some fall.
My hubby and I took a ride last night through the farm. It's getting pretty but not peak yet. Wait till you see how pretty that will be.
First is a pic on dear hubby on the gater with a pretty hillside behind him.
Another hillside.

I thought is was pretty in here, alot of yellow.

I thought this road looks like a scene out of a Thomas Kinkade picture.

We saw alot of deer, when I zoomed in it made the picture blurry but you can still see her.

That's it for another Pink Saturday, thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed, please leave me a comment, I'd love to hear from you!
Blessings, Shirl

Hi Shirl,
I love the flowers, thinking I may have to go treat myself tomorrow too : ) The pitures on your land are beautiful. I posted about the bunny bag you made me tonight as part of my pink Saturday post. I so love that bag hanging on my guest room bed post. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Good morning Shirley,
Your pictures are awesome as always. Those lilies are even more beautiful in that vase and on that vintage vanity. So many pretties all around. I enjoyed seeing your fall color pictures and that one does look like a Thomas Kinkade painting. Wow! God loves beauty and so do I.
Have a terrific weekend!
P.S. I saw on your sidebar, Molly, a Newfoundland. I have wanted a Newfoundland since seeing my first one. Maybe someday.

Happy Pink Saturday, Shirl. I love it when you show us around your part of the country. It is always beautiful!

You received such lovely things from your friends, and I can't wait to see what you create from those gorgeous fabrics.

I love having fresh flowers in my home. I can always get good buys at Sam's Club.

The pink is fabulous this week but I'm partial to the colors of fall and you've captured some great shots. That one pic does look like a Kindkade picture. My brother bought my SIL "Autumn Gate" shortly before he passed and this reminds me of that. I have "Spring Gate" which is the same "scene" only depicted within the colors of Spring.
I love the views you have from your porch and imagine the beauty that surrounds you. Have a happy day.

Your landscape photos are stunning, and yes, that particular one does remind me of a Kinkade painting.

Love the ME teacup & the napkin that you made to compliment it. Adorable.

I love the stargazers and have a few in my garden. The deer like them too! I can't believe they charge $5.00 a bloom. That's awful. The ones you got at the grocery store are gorgeous. Happy belated Pink Saturday.
