ROSE WEDNESDAY

Hello and welcome to Rose Wednesday hosted by Jan at Jan & Tom's Place.

Last week I showed my sweet little Outside Inn which is supposed to hold CD's and several of you said that you would like to see the inside of it. So I've taken a pic of the inside this week.

Back of house.

Inside of house is not alot to look at. As I said last week I'm looking for some vintage doll house furniture to put in it and I'm going to either wallpaper the inside or paint it with a rose stripe wallpaper look.

For this weeks roses I thought I would show you a pretty pincushion that holds my applique pins. I did this silk ribbon embroidery several years ago then made it into a pincushion. One of my favorite things to collect!
A close up.

The back has roses too!

Thank you so much for stopping by. I'll be back later this week with some of my Halloween Decorations.
Blessings, Shirl

Oh, how cute is the inside of your Inside Out house. It would look so pretty wallpapered with pink roses...and some lace curtains!!! Great idea to turn it into a house.

Love the Ribbon embroidery. A long time ago, I did a bit of it...and I've loved it ever since.

Have a blessed week and thanks for joining us again today!

Hey Shirl,
I can just imagine the inside of your precious little house..... all dolled up. It's gonna look so cute with wallpaper and vintage furniture! It's adorable. That ribbon embroidery is beautiful too! Love the backing too. I have completed one ribbon embroidery, a few years ago. It's a little heart sachet. It was a fun project. Hope you have a great Rose Wednesday!

Shirl, I love your little house. Scrap booking paper is great for using in a doll house. The scale is usually good. I have a doll house and it need a refurbish. I just might be inspired now. Smile. I love the pin cushion and the fabric you chose. The pin is lovely too. Nice rose post today.

Hugs...Jeanne

I love that little house Shirl! You may have inspired me to make one for my grandaughter. So many dollhouses are so large & w/ 4 children, my daughter has no place to put one.

The ribbon embroidery you did on the pincushion is exquisite & I gotta tell you how much I covet the beautiful napkin you made in teh previous post..it's gorgeous!

Good morning, Shirl, and thank you for stopping by!

Your Outside Inn is just precious! What a wonderful piece it is. And your silk embroidery is just 2LIVE4 LUSCIOUS! That is one of the most beautiful arts and yours is heavenly.

Speaking of heaven, or Almost Heaven -- my roots are WV, too! My Dad is from Point Pleasant, and my best childhood memories are summers in the little country holler where my Grandma Juniper lived. To this day, the sound of crickets on a summer night takes me away...

I'm off to read the rest of your blog! Am adding you to my blogroll straightaway and look forward to visiting often.

Rosie blessings, Ronda
