Pink Saturday & Happy Birthday Jen

My daughter Jen of Jen's Petal Palace just celebrated her birthday on Jan. 11th and since we had a pink party I thought I would share those pictures with you this week.
Here's Jen in her pink nursery, she was about 4 months old here. We had her nursery all done up in yellow, then when I had a girl I told my husband we had to paint the nursery over again in pink. He was not to happy but finally got it done. LOL
Jen was the only granddaughter on both sides so everyone gave her pink and ruffles. My Mother in law was so happy that I had a girl that she came into the hospital with a whole box of new clothes for Jen, guess what color everything was? Pink of course with ruffles and frills!

We had a nice little dinner party with the family. The next few pics are of Jen opening her gifts.

My cat Bentley had to watch Jen open her gifts. LOL

I made her one of my fabric cake boxes and filled it with vintage scraps.

A cupcake lavender sachet, Jen makes faux pasteries so this fabric was perfect for her.

Jen's doing her kitchen over in a aqua and red retro look so I make her some silk ribbon embroidered lolli's.
