BLUE MONDAY & HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY!

Hello and welcome to Blue Monday hosted by Sally of Smiling Sally. Thank you Sally for hosting this fun event! If you go to her blog you can get a list of all the other participants.
Today for some blue I thought I would show you two banners that I have been working on. I'm moving my paper crafts to another guest bedroom that I have been redoing to allow more room in my sewing room. So I have been finishing up the projects that were in the making on that table.

The first one is done with a crushed velvet background, I used a vintage Victorian clip art, embellished with German Glass Glitter, lace and trims, millinery and a rhinestone at her neckline.

The second one was made from my Christmas card this year. Glitter and trims added to make this pretty one.

Happy St. Patricks Day!
I have a few of my St. Patricks Day decorations to wish in the holiday for you!
This cute little pin, my daughter Jen of Jen's Petal Palace made for me about 16 years ago. She cross stitched it then put several coats of a decopage glue on it to get it hard then cut it out and put a pin on the back.

Some closeups of tree ornaments. A few banners I made this year.

Some cross stitch that I did years ago.

Silk ribbon embroiderd hearts.

A cross stitch sachet.

I made some faux sugar cookies the fill the gaps in this tree. My first year for a St. Patricks Day tree!

A cute little kitty green vase I thought perfect for St. Patricks.

A pillow made using vintage clip art.

A very pretty Victorian Lady!
A picture of my kitty Beans who passed away 7 years ago. She was a sweetie and I still miss her. She had her picture taken for every holiday and helped me on my ebay auctions 8 years ago. She had quite a following and got lots of fan mail! She wished everyone "Happy Bidding"

Another pillow using vintage clip art and Holly Hobbie all dressed in green.
A little mini quilt I made in cross stitch using all different types of threads and buttons.

I wish a very Happy St. Patricks Day!
Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful week!
Bless you, Shirl

Dearest Miss Shirl! I am so happy today because your wonderful package arrived! I almost forgot about my ear infection while I opened MY special gift you so thoughtfully included. I really loved that kitty tag with my name on it...all the glitter made it that more precious. Mommy jumped when she saw the Lindt chocolates! Oh yummy! The Italian bowl is so perfect for displaying mommies ATC's...those are little baseball sized cards she makes and trades with other artists. SO SWEET! The ribbonwork hearts are so delicate and smell almost as good as catnip:) Mommy told me that was lavendar...I guess that is people catnip. I will send you some pictures of me opening everything up tomorrow...thank you for all the treasures and the ones on your blog today. So much delightful eye candy....so dreamy.
Your devoted Miss Peach
