BLUE MONDAY

Hello and welcome to Blue Monday hosted by Smiling Sally. Please visit her blog to get a list of all the other participants.

We had such a wonderful weekend here in WV. It was in the 70's and it was so nice to get outside and spend some time in my gardens. We have so many plants that are ready to burst open. I had a friend that was nice enough to pass on so many plants to me last fall and I can't wait to see what comes up and how well they do. I will be sure to post pictures for you all to see!
Today I have a pretty blue pillow that I crocheted this past summer and it was in my sewing basket awaiting finishing.

I finally pulled it out of my big basket of sewing projects waiting to be finished and made some pretty silk ribbon flowers for the center. Made some beaded loops for interest and put the pale pink velvet ribbon and millinery in the corners.

This pretty pillow will be going on my bed. The pillows I have there now are just getting a little tired and warn looking. Do you find that happens with your things too?

If you have not entered in my giveaway on my Pink Saturday Feb. 28th post yet please scroll down and do that. I'm giving away a pretty pair of pink silk ribbon heartstrings and a few other things with it. I will be picking the winner on Tuesday morning.
Thank you for stopping by and have a great Blue Monday!
Bless you, Shirl

Shirl,

You know how much I love your sewing skills and those beautiful pillows! My fear is that they will get worn looking & I can't sew at all so...

Lovely blues!
