Today I'd like to share a blue gift that I made for my niece. She's expecting a baby boy in April. She has two girls so is so excited about having a boy this time.
I made her an altered art box to hold all babies firsts. Added some vintage images, millinery, buttons, lace, glitter and ribbons.
I put a piece of blue fabric inside to wrap all the firsts in!

That is such a cute blue box! I love "altered" art and I collect old greeting cards, and your gift is a great combination of the two. Your niece is lucky to have such a thoughtful, crafty aunt!

Hi Dear Friend, Shirl this baby keepsake box is adorable. I just love how you added all the first around the pretty blue sidrs. You are so talented. This is really lovely. I bet they would sell too in blues and pinks. Just an idea!
I loved catching up on your lovely posts. The green rose basket is gorgeous along with the bunny bowl. In fact, I have a tea set and platter with that bunny design on one side and flowers on the other. I will be showing it soon for Spring in a post.
Also just loved the cross book mark from Jen. She is so thoughtful and kind. My mother made one in ivory and I love it, since I collect bookmarkers.
