Pink Saturday

Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet the Sound. If you go to her blog you can get a list of all the other participants.
Thank you Beverly for hosting this fun event!

This week I'm posting a pic of a pillow that I made for my bedroom. I purchased this vintage image on a fabric block over a year ago on ebay and it was in my sewing basket waiting to be finished into something. I've promised myself that I'm going to get to at least one item in that basket every week.
So this week this pretty lady was the lucky one to get pulled out of there!
I added some pretty pale pink fabric, lace and millinery with a little splash of glitter and here she is!

This week I made some single hearts for my etsy shop, the one below is done in bright pinks and burgandy. I'll be listing them this weekend. I'm also working on some soft pastel colors to be listed next week.

The next one below is done using antique dusty colors.

It's not to late to get in on my giveaway, you can go down to my last Saturday post and enter a comment to be in the drawing. A few people have commented on other posts to be entered and I will try my best to go to other posts and collect names for the drawing. I will be picking the winner on the morning of March 10. If you put a link to my giveaway on your blog I will enter your name twice, just let me know if you will be doing that in case I don't get to everyone's blog.
Below is the pink silk ribbon rose heartstrings that will be given away along with a few other items listed in the picture below that.

Other items in my giveaway.
Thank you so much for stopping by! It was nice to visit with you.
Bless you, Shirl

Hi Shirl,
I Love the pillow you made, so so sweet. I so want to learn to make pillows and sew. I learned to sew a little years ago in high school but haven't sewn much since. I love your talent, and I still love my little bunny bag that I bought from you. Happy Pink Saturday.

What a beautiful pillow! We are having some wild weather down here in Charleston. 82 degrees at 12:36 p.m. Wow! Looks like we are going to have to go for a Mule ride! Kawaski Mule that is! lol Most people think I'm talking about a real mule. My husband just plowed the garden. There was a butterfly in the yard yesterday! Yeah! Now if I could just shake this cold.....
Happy Pink Saturday!
