PINK SATURDAY & TEA TIME CURTAINS FOR MY DAUGHTER JEN

Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet The Sound. If you stop by to see her you can get a list of all the other participants.
The pretty pink teatime fabric above is what I used to make curtains for my daughter's kitchen. Her sewing machine is down so I whippped these up for her. If you stop by to see Jen at Jennifer's Petal Palace you can see the finished product!

I was so happy to see my pink hollyhocks in bloom when we got back from vacation.

The powderpuff type are my favorite!
Also in bloom were my Stargazer's and Glads. I had to bring some inside the cottage. Then scent is wonderful!

While on vacation near the NJ shore we made our stop at my favorite Antique Emproium.

I thought this was so darn cute! This lady always has the cutest things and she displays them so adorable! Vintage clipart, vintage hankie, key, dried sweet Annie. I just love it!
The back is even cute!

Below is the rest of my little treasures from this mall. I just love these sweet little vintage baby pictures. I'm decorating a guest bedroom in yellow with touches of pink and with lots of baby vintage items in there so these will be perfect. A pretty vintage hat, pink tassle and pretty vintage pink pearl earings.

We also bought two vintage leaded glass windows. Hubby had not taken them out of the truck yet so I could not get a pic of them.
Some more vacation pictures of the Barnegat Bay.
I love to walk on the boat docks and watch them come and go.

Behind all these trees below is the little farmette that my husband and I owned before moving to WV. You can barely see the house through the trees. You can see the barn in the back.

Anyway behind all those trees is a big old white farmhouse. Pics are not that great, we were driving in the car when I snapped them.
That's it for today, thank you so much for stopping by, it was so nice to visit and share with you! I'll be back Monday with Smiling Sally for a Blue Monday post. Have a great weekend!
Bless you, Shirl

Oh Shirl! Thanks so much for sharing. I loved the curtain fabric, but the Moma and I always say if we only had time for tea, as she lives far away from me, and I don't get home but once a year. This is a beautiful post. I loved your shopping finds and the ocean photos. I could smell the sea air and feel the breeze on my face. I signed up to follow your blog. I just have to come back. Please stop by mine and say hi. Follow if you feel so inclined. Country Hugs, Sherry

Loved seeing the pics from your vacation too. You found some sweet items for your guestroom. Love those vintage baby items.
Also the filled tin heart is so pretty. I have painted many of those hearts through the years. I wish I had some in stock now.

Your flowers are gorgeous. What a pretty sight to come home to. They bouquet is beautiful. I adore your white archway/trellis too. Just so cottage lovely!

I think it's sweet. That eventhough your daughter is grown up, she'll have something with her always that her Mom made for her :-)

I don't know hollyhocks but I do like their powderpuff-like appearance. :-)

And the baby on those cards are just adorable. specially the one lying on his tummy.

Happy pink Saturday!

Your yard and hollyhocks love gorgeous. Jack and I were going to Home Depot the other day and I saw a yard with hollyhocks in it and he told me that bees love hollyhocks. That did it for me. I was thinking of planting them before he told me that. They are gorgeous though. I hate bees, honey! The curtains you did for Jenn are lovely, sweetpea. I'm sure she loves having you for her mother.

Connie
