PINK SATURDAY

Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by our sweet Beverly of How Sweet the Sound. If you go to her blog you can get a list of the many participants.

It's off to work for me next week! I took a job at the Catholic School as a teacher's assistant for 4th and 5th grades. I'm looking forward to working with the children. I've been away from it for awhile but I'm sure I will get right back in the groove! I have the best hours though 8 to 11, Mon. thru Fri. Can't beat that. I'll still have time for all my hobbies and blogging (thank goodness)! Then summer's, nights, weekends, holidays and snow days off.

Now on to my pinkness! Today I'd like to show you another Flea Market find. I got this entire set of china for $15.00. The plates to the left with larger roses were not included, they were $1.00 each. I'll show a close up of them next week.

A few closeups. There's only 5 place settings, that's an odd number but I love it just the same. I might be able to find more pieces to go with it.

Pink and blue on white, my favorite colors!

Markings on the bottom. Does anyone know if this would be the name of the pattern or the maker? I'd like to find some on ebay but don't know the name.

Thank you so much for stopping by, it was so nice to visit with you. I'll be back on Monday with a Blue Monday post.
Bless you, Shirl

Hello, Shirl,
I think you got a fantastic buy!! My weakness is china and yours is beautiful. I have some china marked Selb, Bavaria, and I think that is just telling where the china is from. I enjoyed visiting you. Have a good weekend. Vicki

Hello Shirl, Love the dishes honey. They are so elegant. About the name on the bottom. I find that if I just google what is on the bottom sometimes it is a name in itself, and it will pull those dishes right up. If not, the brand will come up and you can research through that. Give it a try anyway. You got a real find, but you can only have 4 guests to dinner. Maybe she broke some of the dishes. Happy Pink Saturday and thanks so much for sharing. Please stop by and say hi. Country Hugs, Sherry

Very cute! I so want a dining room just to decorate the table! I have a favor to ask..would you be interested in making a wedding tag for my daughters reception? Her theme is trees and leaves and I am using a vintage urn with branches out of it and hanging tags on it. She has a blog and her friends are making surprise tags too. Do you think Jen might? Please email me if you can, I want to keep it a secret from her! Later,Lori
