PINK SATURDAY

Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet the Sound. Thank you so much Beverly for hosting this fun event. If you go to visit her blog you can get a list of all the participants.

I found this cute antique wooden tool caddy in the barn (I told hubby that he didn't really need it LOL) and brought it up to the house, white washed it and it makes a perfect carrier for my ribbons and seam bindings. I have my sewing room and craft room in seperate rooms so I needed a storage source that had a handle to carry back and forth. This works out just perfect.

Look how pretty this collection of pink fabric's are that I picked up during the summer while on vacation. I'm not sure what I'm going to use them for yet. I'm trying to come up with something to use them all together. I just love the combination.

Thank you so much for stopping by. It was so nice to visit with you! Have a wonderful and safe Labor Day weekend! I will be back on Monday with a Blue Monday post.
Blessings to you! Shirl

Hi Shirl,
Love your pink post and the wood tote is perfect for your ribbons.
The fabrics are gorgeous and all together they look beautiful. I am sure with your talents you will find someway to use them in a gorgeous project.
Love it all.

You asked about the paint. I use Delta Ceramcoat in Black when painting furniture. It is the large size and is matt finish. Followed by 2 coats, an overnight cure time, distress and seal with 2 coats satin water based varnish.
If you need any help, let me know. Vickie emailed and asked too. Not all craft acrylics work, but black does so I perfer it over any other. Sand in one direction first too to give some tooth before painting.
Thanks for stopping by.
Blessings always,
Celestina Marie
