PINK SATURDAY APRIL 23, 2011

Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet the Sound. Today Beverly asked us to show some Spring or Easter.

What plans do you have for Easter? I'm making my son a turkey dinner. Last year he missed Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas because he was deployed to Afghanistan so this dinner is to celebrate him being home and the holidays he missed.
I wish you a wonderful, happy and Blessed Easter and Passover!

Our apple blossom tree finally bloomed this week so I have a little pink and a little spring!

A few closups.

The scent is wonderful. The only company that I know of that has ever been able to capture the scent of Apple Blossom is Avon. They first brought this scent out in 1941 and the scent in heavenly. I buy it everytime I come across it at a flea market. Love it!

Below is one of my peony bird nests that I started making few years ago.

Next some of my silk ribbon embroidered bunnies. Another creation of mine.

A cute little cross stitched pillow that I made a few years back for my friend Steph of Angelic Accents.

A little sachet that I sent to Steph along with the pillow.

A shelf in my living room all decked out with bunnies.

Some close ups.

Thank you so much for stopping by, it was nice to visit with you! I hope you all have a wonderful Easter and Passover!

I wish you peace! Shirl

Good morning Shirley,
Happy Easter to you and your family. Pictures are beautiful as always! Oh those apple blossoms, so beautiful and I can just imagine that wonderful scent from them. I just love those little felt bunnies. Did you make your own pattern? Crafting with felt has become a new love for me. Thanks for your comments on my posts. The new kitties are just so sweet. I want to pick them up and touch their little noses and feet but that's a no-no until they are lots bigger. Kitty is a first time mommy and she is a good one. Enjoy this holiday with your son and please tell him thank you for his service from my family. God's blessings to all of you.

Hi Shirl,
I know your Easter was special this year with your son home. So happy for you and your family.
Your home decor is amazing and I love all the gorgeous bunnies and cross stitch pretties. I am blessed to own one of your nests and ribbon roses bunnies too. I see them everyday along with Jens pretties too in my shabby room.

Love the pretties made for Stephanie. I know she cherishes these treasures. You are so very talented and it shows in everything you create and decorate!

Thank you for stopping by and your kind comment. Have a wonderul Wednesday sweet friend.
Love to you,
Celestina Marie
