PINK SATURDAY & HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

Hello and Happy Valentine's Day, I hope you all have a wonderful day planned with your Valentine!

Below is a picture of one of my old chippy, cracked and nicked valentine kids that I just love. I painted them back in the 70's and I just treasure them, under glass of course!

My pink that I have to show you this week is from a Valentine Swap that I was in, the picture above is what I gave to my swap partner Connie of Living Beautifully.

Also Connie gave me a pretty strawberry sachet scented with a wonderful scent. I have it in one of my guest bedrooms and you can smell the scent as you approach the room. Thank you Connie, I love what you made for me.

Next I thought I would show you some more Valentine's in my home.

Below is a quilted wall hanging that I made this week. I had purchased the emboridery from a person that did it by machine cross stitch. Which I did not know you could even do by machine.

I added the pretty valentine print fabric, some ribbons and some millinery.

Now on to the sweet Valentine treats for my loved ones.

Some yummy white cupcakes with pink buttercream frosting and frosted sugar cookies.

Some little sweet treat gift bags for all!

Last I had to show you another one of my favorite little valentine decorations. It's just a little mailbox with doves and letters. Doves always reminds me of my mother, she loved doves and used to feed them right from her hands. She collected dove figurines and I gave them to my daughter. Jen used them on her wedding day on both sides of her wedding cake. They looked so pretty on the table.
