PINK SATURDAY

Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet The Sound. If you go to visit her you can get a list of all the other participants.

Today I'm excited to show you this adorable little clothespin doll that I won as a giveaway from Erin at FairieMoon. Look how sweet her little face is, even a beauty mark. Thank you so much Erin, I will treasure her!

I made the little ribbon rose for her.

Even cute from the back!

Here she is at home in my guest bedroom hanging from my milkglass lamp.

I found this little guy on my porch this week. He looked so pretty on my chaise lounge that I had to snap a pic. I think this little guy belongs to my son, he has been coming to eat with the strays for the past week. I guess he like my Friskies better that what he gets at home. LOL

Next I have some Flea Market finds to show you. Many of the items were just a quarter. HollyHobbie plate for $2.00. I thought the tissue paper was so pretty.

This beautiful print was only a dollar, I loved it and I'm going to take it out of the frame to make a copy to use as an embroidery pattern. I think she will be beautiful embroidered. I might color it in colored pencils before I put it back into the frame.
A box of vintage cards for a dollar.

A pretty embroidered lily of the valley hankie. Crochet hook was only a quarter.
Pretty cake plates for $1.00 each.
Pretty vintage doves for fifty cents. I thought I would put them on my fabric cake boxes that I make.

Thank you so much for stopping by, it was so nice to visit with you! Have a great weekend.
Blessing to you, Shirl

PINK SATURDAY

Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet The Sound. Thank you Beverly for hosting this fun event, if you stop by to see her you can get a list of all the other participants.

Today I thought I'd show you my recent flea market finds. Love these blue mason jars and only $2.00 each! (above)

I love these pretty egg vases, this is my third one that I have bought.

Look how sweet this china basket is! I fell in love as soon as I saw it, Her arm is broken but I'm going to glue a little bouquet of ribbon roses with ribbons streaming down and you'll never see that it's broken.

Look how sweet her face is. All my favorite things, baskets, lilacs, roses and victioran dolls.

Samplers are another thing that I collect, I thought this one was adorable.

Thank you so much for stopping by, it was so nice to visit with you. I will be back Monday with a Blue Monday post.
Bless you, Shirl

Pink Saturday

Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet The Sound.
Above I have a pic of some Flea Market finds from this past summer. The pretty Victorian looking ones on the left I thought I would make their little baskets into a pincushion, they were probably made to hold flowers. The little girl with dog is so pretty, the detail in it is just incredible. I paid $1.00 for each one. The cute little box has a powder puff with powder still in it.

Above is a pretty little birthday planter that I purchased at the same Flea Market. I think that was $1.00 also.
When my hubby and I travel I always do needlework because I hate the tractor trailers on the roads. (they drive way to fast). I'm always loosing my scissors so when hubby was cleaning out his drawers at work he brought this little thing home for me. It grips anything that lays on it and does a great job of holding my scissors and sunglasses, only problem was that is was not pink and pretty!!! So I made this cute little pink yoyo brooch to pretty it up. I make this brooches in all colors to put on my coats and totes.

Now it's pretty!!!!!!
This is one of my favorite little tea cups with a cottage window and hollyhocks!

Thank you so much for stopping by for Pink Saturday! It was so nice to visit with you. I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving, ours was wonderful! I'm getting my Christmas decorations out today and hope to do a few more posts this week with the last of Thanksgiving and start on some Christmas posts.
Have a great weekend and Happy Pink Saturday!
Blessings, Shirl
