TEA PARTY WITH JAN & TOM

Hello and welcome to my Tea Party, hosted by Jan and Tom's Rose Haven. If you go to their blog you can get a list of all the other participants.

Today I am having an Anniversary/Valentine Tea Party. My husband and I celebrated out 38th anniversary on Friday, if you scroll down to my previous post you can see all about that.
I've set my table with a pretty vintage set of anniversary pieces and vintage blue depression luncheon plates.
Please click on the pic to get a nice big picture.

I'm serving with our tea some frosted sugar cookies and some melt in your mouth scotch-shortbread cookies with cherries.

A close up of my anniversary dishes, I love the soft blue and pink in them!

My daughter Jen painted this pretty plate for me several years ago. I just made the pretty little heart valentine this past week.

Some pretty little valentine embroidered lollis.
My daughter made me these pretty little faux sugar cookies to use for decoration.

I made my Nancy Ann doll a little valentine dress for the occasion.

My son gave us these little bride and groom Mary Moo Moo's several years ago for an annniversary gift.

I love Victorian crackers and usually make them for any occasion. I see them alot in Australian and English magazines that I pick up and think they look so festive on a table!
How about some Lindt white chocolate truffles. My favorite!!!!!

Thank you so much for joining me for my little teaparty. I hope you enjoyed as much as I enjoyed having you!
Bless you! Shirl

Shirl, such a pretty anniversary party table! I adore that sweet little heart pillow ~ especially the little couple's graphic & the blingy pink heart that is on it! The crackers I noticed immediately. Besides being pretty they are so fun, Autumn loves to open them! Jen's cookies & plate are beautiful. Girl, it is just a matter of time til you are published in a magazine!!

Big TX Hugs,

Shirl, Your table-setting is beautiful, in fact all your treasures you post are lovely. I also notice on your blog you mention having so much property. Being surrounded with so much land is a dream for me. You are so blessed living the way you live. Have a wonderful day!

I almost forgot I love the victorian crackers on the table! Very nice!

Hi Shirl,

Those blue tea dishes are so nice, unusual color to find them in. I usually see them in clear glass, what a nice find.
