PINK SATURDAY

Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet the Sound! Thank you Beverly for hosting this fun event.
Today is the first I've had my computer back home since last Tuesday. It was very sick, poor thing. All better now and thank goodness, I can't believe how lost I felt without it! LOL

Anyway on to some PINK! Above is a picture of my Valentine tea-towels. I was ironing them earlier this week and thought how pretty they looked so I thought "Why not share them with my Pink blogging friends?"

Some more pretty Valentine tea towels.

If you have visited my blog before you know that my husband and I have been feeding the deer on our farm. This past summer was not a good growing season for apples and nuts in this part of WV and our deer and wildlife are starving. Not these deer as you can see they have a nice little belly on them.
Here's a few closups, we can now get within a few feet of them.

What a beautiful creature God has blessed us with! That pipe thing behind her is a pipe from a natural gas well. Lots of them in WV and most of the time if they drilled on your property you get free gas to your home. A true blessing, makes that pipe not so ugly!!!!! LOL

Next is a picture of another Antique Mall find that I purchased with one my Christmas gift cards. You might have to enlarge the picture (just click on it) to see the detail. It's a very light pic and worth taking a closer look at. I collect vintage baby things and could not resist this one. I love satin and this blue is in very good condition.

It even has a sweet little pillow.
A few close ups!

I love blue-birds, I'm gonna scan this pretty bird, make a pattern and embroider it with some pink roses. Wouldn't that be pretty?

I collect feedsacks and could not resist this pretty one. I'm not sure what I'm going to make out of this cut of fabric yet but I'll be sure to share with you when I do.

Thank you so much for stopping by, it was so nice to visit with you. I love sharing my ideas for sewing, crafting, collecting and decorating.
Have a wonderful week, I hope to visit lots of blogs since I missed so many last week. Don't give up on me if I don't visit on Saturday, I visit PS posts all week long.
Blessings, Shirl

Don't you just love them?

Oh, how I love deer. Fabulous pics.

Oh Shirl Sweetie...
Happy Pink Saturday. The deer look so wonderful and healthy. Thank God they had your farm as a refuge for the season and did not starve like so many out there I am sure. Without their food, what else would they do? You have preserved beauty for years to come. They are so beautiful to watch, and so magical. I love the faces, and the deer eyes. Thank you for sharing them throughout this winter so far, I have enjoyed watching the personalities of each.

Your finds are so beautiful. I love the little blue birds too. They are just so whimsical, and with roses, yes they would be beautiful. I can't believe that someone would part with such a find. The condition is wonderful considering the age I am sure.

Have a beautiful Saturday and thank you again for sharing.

Country hugs from Country Wings in Phoenix. Love...Sherry

Hi Shirl, I am glad to hear everything is okay. I was beginning to get worried about you. I did send you my email also. By the way could you email me, how did you connect your email to your blog?
I was going to suggest scanning your bird and bow for a pattern. That whole set is just precious.

Have a great weekend.
