PINK SATURDAY
Hi, I thought I would link up with Sally of Smiling Sally today since I have alot of blue on my post this week. Thank you Sally, it's fun to share our blue!
Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet the Sound. If you stop over to visit her you can get a list of all the other participants.
As I told you all last week my son was home on a two week leave from Afghanistan and my first born Grandson was getting ready to leave with the Navy. We had some wonderful times with family and friends. Saturday we had a nice farewell BBQ for them and above is a pic of the cake. They are both full of enthusiasm about their future. We are so proud of them both!
Of course we had their favorite Reeses at the picnic! LOL
While I was enjoying the times setting on the porch with company I had to do something to keep my hands busy. (I'm not one to set idle) so here's a few things that I made by hand.
I bought this cute summer print last year on vacation and I made it into a little heart with yoyo's.
This is not pink but I thought you'd like to see anyway. My sweet friend Judy of Vintage to Chic sent me this adorable vintage glass slipper and I made it into a pincushion using my silk ribbon embroidery. I love to take vintage items and make them into a pincushion.
