Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet the Sound. Thank you Beverly for hosting this fun event.
Today for my pink I have this pretty little cross stitched lamp that I made many years ago. I've always loved this and I just got the big idea in my head that it would be cute to sew on some pretty little crystal beads to put where the crystals are cross stitched on this. On the lookout for tiny crystals! LOL
My favorite lily "Stargazer" is in bloom in my garden now. I plant more of these every year. I love them and the scent is fabulous! You can smell them as soon as you enter my garden gate and while setting on the porch.
My quilt guild had a Christmas in July cookout this past week and we had a "Yankee gift swap" Below are the gifts that I made for the swap.
First I have a little pincushion I made using my pumpkin pattern then I attached a little vintage ballerina and some little pearls and a faux cupcake flower.

I adore all the things you made for the swap, my favorite is the adorable pincushion-such a sweet fabric. The Stargazer is beautiful. Happy Pink Sat.
Hi Shirl,
I'll be on the lookout for little crystals for your lamp!
LOVE the pincushion you made. You are so talented!
Happy Pink Saturday to you!
Warmly,
deb :)
So much pink beauty in one short post! I especially love your little cross-stitch picture. Make sure to show it again if you find your crystals for it.

HAPPY BELATED PINK SATURDAY SHIRL,
THE BEADS JUST ADDED TO THE ELEGANCE OF YOUR CROSS STITCH. I LOVE EVERYTHING BUT I ESPECIALLY LIKE THE SUNBONNET GIRL NEEDLE HOLDER. THAT IS SO SWEET.
ON MY BLOG THERE'S AN ANGEL ON MY FRONT PORCH I ASK TO REMEMBER YOUR SON AND GRANDSON IN PRAYER.
I WAS THINKING IT WOULD BE WONDERFUL IF SOMEONE CREATED A BUTTON THAT COULD BE POSTED AT THE TOP OF THEIR BLOG, FOR EVERYONE WHO HAS SOMEONE THEY LOVE SERVING THIS COUNTRY AND WHEN PEOPLE CLICKED ON TO YOUR BLOG, SAY, THEY WOULD KNOW YOU HAD A SERVICEMAN OR DAUGHTER AND TO PRAY FOR THEM. I AM COMPUTER ILLITERATE SO I COULDN'T DO IT BUT THERE IS PLENTY OF TALENT OUT THERE.
HAVE A LOVELY WEEKEND.

Such lovelies. Too cute. Thanks for sharing. Happy belated pink day.
Hi Shirl,
I'm finally back in the saddle. Haven't felt much like creating anything these days. One day in early July I decided to make a Christmas wreath out of the blue ~ go figure. Thank goodness I wasn't the only one thinking of the holidays, someone bought it the next day! Whew...
Love your ballerina pincushion girlfriend!

Dear Shirl, love that little GWTW lamp you cross-stitched. I'd love to have that pattern! I sooo love my lamps! :0) Little crystals sewn to it would be adorable.
Love your pincushion! Everything you make is always picture perfect!
Just now catching up on last week's blogs!
Love you!
