PINK SATURDAY

Hello and welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly of How Sweet the Sound. Thank you Beverly for hosting this fun event.

This week for my pinkness I'd like to show you this pretty sampler that I made back in 1984, It was one of the first samplers that I made on linen, meaning it does not have squares on it but you count the threads each way to make your cross stitch. I loved this saying because my husband was always saying to me. "What's all that grumbling about in there". LOL I loved the colors too!

Beverly asked us to visit a new blog every week so the one I visited was The Tablescaper, this was my first visit to her blog and it sure was a delightful one. She has the most amazing tablescapes and her recent pink beach scene was just adorable! Please stop by to see her and tell her that I sent you her way.

Well that's all my pink this week. Thank you so much for stopping by, it was so nice to visit with you. I have been a busy beaver this summer trying to get 3 more rooms painted before school starts back up again. Just a little over a month and I'm back to work.

Blessings, Shirl

That really is a great saying on that sampler Shirl! It's really pretty too, and I admire anyone who can do the counted cross stitch. Unless the pattern is stamped on the fabric, I won't go near it!
Happy Pink Saturday!

Imagine my surprise, as I'm reading away in disbelief that you made that sampler and I stumble upon your mentioning of my blog. How sweet and thoughtful! Thank you so much for your kind words.

I really can't believe you made that sampler. I really thought it was an awesome vintage piece. You are so talented!

I host a weekly meme called "Summer Sundays" and it's all about what summer means to YOU. I'd love to have you come and join in the fun.

Thanks again for your kind words.

Just wanted to say Hi. I need to pick up the supplies to cross stitch again. It has been years but maybe it would be good crafting therapy for me : ) Keeping you and your Son in my prayers.
Hugs,
Kathy
